Privacy Policy
Effective September 8, 2026.
This policy explains what personal information Zivo Labs LLC collects through the zivo service, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can ask us to delete it. It is written in plain English on purpose.
Who we are
zivo is a product of Zivo Labs LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, United States. You can reach us at ana@zivolabs.app about anything in this policy.
Our role, and your dry cleaner's role
Most of the personal information in zivo does not belong to us. It belongs to the dry cleaning business that uses zivo.
That business decides which customers get a text message and what their order record says. We process that information on their instructions, as their service provider, in order to run the service. If you are a customer of a dry cleaner and you want your information corrected or removed, you can contact the business directly or contact us — either way it gets handled.
What we collect
From the dry cleaning business:
- Business name, address, and phone number.
- Names and email addresses of the staff who log in.
- Billing contact information.
From the business's customers — entered by the business's staff, not collected by us directly:
- First and last name.
- Mobile phone number.
- Order details: ticket number, what was dropped off, and the dates it was received, marked ready, and picked up.
- Whether a text message to that number was delivered, failed, or was opted out.
- Whether the order status page was opened.
From this website: if you submit the demo form, we receive the name, business name, and phone number or email address you type into it. That is all the form collects.
We do not collect payment card numbers from a dry cleaner's customers. We do not buy contact lists, and we do not sell or rent any personal information to anyone.
Why we use it
- To send a text message when an order is ready, and reminders if it has not been picked up.
- To show an order status page to the customer who receives that text.
- To send one message after pickup asking how the visit went, with a link to the business's Google page and a separate link for telling the business privately if something went wrong.
- To provide support to the business and fix problems with the service.
- To bill the business and keep our own accounting records.
We do not use a dry cleaner's customer information to advertise anything, to market our own service, or to build profiles.
Text messages specifically
Consent to receive text messages is collected by the dry cleaning business from its own customers, before any message is sent. The messages zivo sends are transactional — they are about the status of an order. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages through this service.
You can stop the messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Replying HELP returns contact information. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier. Message frequency depends on your order activity.
Who else sees this information
We share personal information only with the companies we need in order to run the service, and only for that purpose:
- Twilio Inc. — delivers the text messages.
- Netlify, Inc. — hosts this website and receives demo form submissions. It does not hold any dry cleaner's customer information.
- Hostinger — hosts the zivo application that the dry cleaning business logs into.
- Supabase — stores order records and customer phone numbers.
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. Nothing else. In particular, the review link in our message simply opens Google's own review page — we do not send your information to Google.
How long we keep it
- Order records and customer phone numbers: 24 months from the date of the order.
- When a business stops using zivo: its customers' personal information is deleted within 30 days.
- Opt-out records: kept indefinitely. If you reply STOP, we have to remember your number in order to keep not texting you.
- Demo form submissions and business billing records: kept as long as we need them for the conversation and for our accounting obligations.
How to ask us to delete your information
Email ana@zivolabs.app with the subject line “Delete my information” and include:
- the mobile phone number involved, and
- the name of the dry cleaning business you used.
We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days. If the request comes from a dry cleaner's customer, we will let that business know, because the order record is theirs. We do not charge for this, and we will not ask you for a reason.
You can also ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at the same address.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit. Access to the systems that hold customer information is limited to the people at Zivo Labs LLC who need it to operate and support the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Children
zivo is a tool for businesses. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top. If the change is significant, we will notify the businesses using zivo directly.
